I was tasked with assisting another member of my chorus with creating a fun good luck wish that could be animated in PowerPoint for an advertisement at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas where we will be performing in the Sweet Adelines International Competition 2015. I wanted to leverage the culture of the venue and repurpose the iconic Welcome to Vegas sign to suit our needs.

As a volunteer through the United Nations Online Volunteering program, I collaborated with a non-profit group and another designer to create an annual report for Red Deporte Cooperacion. Not only did the project involve detailed design work, it also required me to communicate across language barriers and time zone restrictions to create a satisfactory final product.

Logo and banner designed for Greater Nassau Chorus' annual show- Barbershop Rocks. I wanted the design to utilize typography consistent with that used by the rock band Queen and iconography that would give show goers the impression that this isn't their grandmother's barbershop concert.

An independent logo design project for my hometown of Summerville, SC. My design philosophy was to draw in the elements of Summerville that I remembered fondly from my childhood: the abundance of pine trees (as stated in their motto), the beautiful azaleas and small town feel of their parks and shops.

Using a prompt from a design book, I took my personal branding and redesigned it using a quick brainstorm session and then fleshing out the best idea from my sketches. This shade of lime green best represents my personality: cool and relaxed while still being funky and eye-catching. I'm also a big fan of geometric patterns and simple elements in my designs, represented by the block.

A logo I designed for my personal food blog. I used a bold font to represent New York's bold cultural and food history and a handwritten font in the colors of my alma mater to represent elements of my Southern heritage.

A logo I designed for a friend's podcast that focuses on gaming and nerd culture. I wanted to create a bright, fun and eye catching logo that would support the gaming demographic of potential listeners.

I created this custom art for my best friend and her husband to display at their wedding ceremony using their engagement photos and scripture that was important to them.

Two variations on a Valentine's Day card I created: one using just red text and another using a knockout effect over a photo of a brilliant sunset.

A business card I designed for my friend Huey, a professional organist and composer. He suggested using parts from an organ to create a simple design that reflected his professionalism and love of music.

A volunteer logo opportunity for a play of burned and banned stories that were deemed not appropriate in their time. The noose was a suggested element from one of the stories that the theater group wanted to incorporate. I also added distress to the typography to suggest burnt paper.
